I love this one !! i can just see the service men sitting there in the club drinking whiskey and soda and smoking " Luckies" , with this paper on hand to write to the loved ones

This next piece also arrived today , i had no idea what was in the envelope ,as i dont recall getting anything from the UK ?? I then began to read the message that was inside the envelope " Found these today Carl among my bits and pieces , and thought of you (naturally ?) well a big thank you to "Sabrejet" !! totally unexpected surprise !! this sort of gesture makes the forum what it is, a great place to make friends and share our love of the US Militaria collecting world

These 2 new additions , not strictly blank stationary as in the form of writing paper, but still have the same theme as my other pieces with them being blank and US military related

 

These would have been more of a home front item sent from a family member or sweetheart

You've certainly found an unusual collecting niche there Carl. I don't ever recall seeing such a collection on the forum...the odd item in the ephemera section maybe, but not such a varied collection as yours.

Well I just got a couple more items delivered today !

 

3 envelopes , I think these are great !! the colors are still bright and the paper still nice and crisp

And another "Redipoint" mechanical pencil it says " US ARMY AIRFORCES ,MIAMI BEACH , FLORIDA "would like some more of these if any one can help ???

These cards would have been sent from home and I just couldn't resist them when I saw them !! even "Mrs littlebuddy" likes them

Last but not least are a some printed letterheads , that were sent to me as a gift from a member on here who I have got to know over the last 6 months or so , and built up a friendship that spans the "pond" Daniel , "doinworkinvans" I thank you very much, for all your help in helping me accumulate many of the items shown !! Dan has took delivery of many of the items for myself where the seller didn't ship overseas , not a bother for him and all have arrived safely and in great shape !!
