This is from the USS Argonne (AG31) which was present at Pearl Harbor on 7 Dec. 1941. This letter was sent when she was doing occupation duty in Japan and ferrying US troops back stateside.

Here is my favorite from my collection. It is early enough to have ADF (Alaska Defense Force) instead of ADC (Alaska Defense Command). I saw another one like this on ebay not too long ago, but it had a picture of a p-38, so it went way high.

91st US Naval Construction Battalion

 

 

Very nice New Guinea CB stationery, From October 1943 to December 1944 the 91st was in New Guinea prior to moving on to the Philippines.
