littlebuddy Posted October 9, 2013 Share #1 Posted October 9, 2013 We see alot of letters that were written by those brave Guys and Gals overseas or even Stateside, so i thought it would be kind of interesting to see what type of stationary they might have used ?? It is a offshot of my USAAF collecting , in that it doesnt quite cost as much as any of the uniforms and equipment ! I hope that this is of some interest to you all ? If you have any other blank stationary that is WW2 era please feel free to add to this thread so here goes ,and please enjoy this thread LB
littlebuddy Posted October 9, 2013 Author Share #2 Posted October 9, 2013 Close up views I have tried to show how well this paper is embossed but it doesnt relly show up that well on a photo "....and make believe it came from you!" contd .. this calendar in this kit is dated 1944 / 1945 and looks like someone has a few postcards to write too !!! Sabrejet Posted October 9, 2013 Share #20 Posted October 9, 2013 Carl...it's years since I picked up that Army stationary set, I probably paid peanuts for it! I assume this kind of ephemera is still relatively inexpensive?
