Nice ones, yokota57. Here’s something that may or may not be used in the military, a camera in a lighter case:

You might not think of this as a military lighter, but I have actually seen a guy light a cigarette with one of these when we were on a bivouac at Ft. Knox:

Thanks, yokota57. Hey, that “lighter” has but one moving part, the hinge at its base; and never needs fluid, or a flint. (OK, but it DOES have to be sunny!)

Lots of GI’s smoked Camels in WWII, sone would even”walk a mile” for one:

Thanks, yokota57. I apologize for my photography: it looks like the reverse side of the lighter is smaller than the front side. Duh, on my part. Looks like my text editing skills need work too. It should read “Lots of GI’s smoked Camels in WWII, some would even “walk a mile” for one”
