A guy on Etsy makes these.

An authentic Vietnam engraved lighter with a typical “beer can” pin for the 5th ARVN Division soldered on

Great lighters and that leather covered one, that's not something you see everyday!

Thanks, jmd62. This is a different version of the gas can or Jerry Can lighter.

This one was made in Germany immediately post-WWII

Another WWI Lighter

This one has an American Doughboy on the left and a French Poilu on the right with an inscription in an arc. Rough translation: “For the great cause of humanity.”

This is a Zippo issued in the past few years as part of a Vietnam commemorative series:

(I had mis-posted this on another Forum thread. So, thanks, moderators, for removing it from there.)

Very cool Cobra 6! As a kid we used to drive down that way and shoot our guns in the woods. Probably not a good idea today? ;D

(This is a little different: a Zippo alarm clock in a lighter case, part of Zippo’s never-ending quest to find other uses for its cases.)

Probably from Thailand. 1960's Zippo insert. May be Silver but not marked.

What I found interesting is it is engraved on all 8 sides.

De nada, BH. This is not specifically a military lighter more of a ‘survival Zippo’:

Kind of a neat dog tag size tool.

That tool looks like something Marlboro used to give away.
