This was one of my early purchases, obviously before I knew how to tell a fake engraved-in-Vietnam lighter from an authentic one:

Don’t recall if I already posted these matches on not:

These came in the “Accessory Pack” (also called a “Comfort Pack”) in the Vietnam era C-Rations (technically, they were “Meals, Combat, Individual”). And they were one of the reasons everyone had to purchase a lighter. I think these matches only worked perhaps 50% of the time.
