gap Posted October 6, 2013 Author Share #4 Posted October 6, 2013 I realize they are post WW2, I was hoping for a time frame though. I suspect the first wing is Vietnam era and the master wing a bit later.

tomcatter Posted October 6, 2013 Share #6 Posted October 6, 2013 HLP was the old hallmark used by Lordship until 1973. After 1973 Lordship used both LI and L-22 hallmarks. I think "HLP" wings are from 1960s, and "LI" Senior wings from late 1970s or even 1980s. Nice findings.
triplecanopy Posted October 7, 2013 Share #7 Posted October 7, 2013 HLP was the mark for 'His Lordship Products'. 1/20th SF puts the date sometime after 1964 up to about 1973. LIGI Is same maker later date from mid 70's up to the mid 1980's LI is 'Lordship Industries' and GI is Government Issue.

triplecanopy Posted October 7, 2013 Share #9 Posted October 7, 2013 The only thing to add is the one with the star above the canopy is a senior parachutist badge, not master. Glad to help.
Boy Howdy Posted February 5, 2021 Share #10 Posted February 5, 2021 All wings (and other US badges & insignia) that are marked with the hallmark “silver filled” were produced between 1967 and 1974. 1974 was the last year that silver filled insignia was manufactured.
