Hello Wings gurus! :)

 

Have you ever seen such Glider Pilot Wings? Is it fake or not? Thank you very much in advance for your possible consultation.

Those look to be WWII vintage, English made white silk on wool glider pilot wings. Not super rare, but still very nice. Their was a recent thread on these a few days ago.

I have a set.... they are good. Funny I don't recall seeing a used set.... I guess the "G" pilots preferred metal over cloth.

Auction description:

 

World War II United States Army air corps glider pilot wing. This wing was hand embroidered in China during world war II and it measures 2 7/8 inches wing tip to wing tip. This wing, along with serveral other wings, was brought back from mainland China by an Air France airline pilot many years ago. The wing is in very good condition.
