Gregory Posted April 22, 2008 Share #1 Posted April 22, 2008 Hello Wings gurus! Have you ever seen such Glider Pilot Wings? Is it fake or not? Thank you very much in advance for your possible consultation. Best regards Greg
pfrost Posted April 22, 2008 Share #2 Posted April 22, 2008 Those look to be WWII vintage, English made white silk on wool glider pilot wings. Not super rare, but still very nice. Their was a recent thread on these a few days ago. Patrick
pconrad02 Posted April 22, 2008 Share #3 Posted April 22, 2008 Greg, I concur with Patrick, they look nice from the picture. Can we get a shot of the reverse? Paul
101combatvet Posted April 22, 2008 Share #4 Posted April 22, 2008 I have a set.... they are good. Funny I don't recall seeing a used set.... I guess the "G" pilots preferred metal over cloth.
