From 1974, a USAEUR themed photo of the West German based 15th MP Bde, look like Support people from the brigade

I don't think we ever had exercises anywhere near Neuschwanstein Castle.  It would have scared off the tourists!  This photo just screams "Hey, let's grab a jeep from the motor pool and go see the sights!"  Of course... we did that all the time!  LOL!

Wow Just remembered this, on one Platoon Sized  FTX at Fort Hood in The Cav in June 1980, we had a civilian photographer out with us, scuttlebutt was he was to take photos for Recruiting stuff, he did take several photos of the guys, but not me LOL, never did see anything ever come out on posters and or brochures or billboards of my guys, wish I did.

This one, WWI 1917, it proves that many members of the National guard in WWI were not really National Guardsmen in the pre war sense. It was a matter of enlisting for the Army because of the war in the nearest Army unit they could find. And with the National Guard gong on recruiting drives to flesh out their units.

Bob Dills was my recruiter. I joined on DEP in September of 1980.
