patches Posted November 30, 2022 Share #80 Posted November 30, 2022 Wow Just remembered this, on one Platoon Sized FTX at Fort Hood in The Cav in June 1980, we had a civilian photographer out with us, scuttlebutt was he was to take photos for Recruiting stuff, he did take several photos of the guys, but not me LOL, never did see anything ever come out on posters and or brochures or billboards of my guys, wish I did. It was a matter of enlisting for the Army because of the war in the nearest Army unit they could find. And with the National Guard gong on recruiting drives to flesh out their units.
