ARMY BRAT 1957 Posted September 25, 2013 Share #1 Posted September 25, 2013 Just found this Leather Flight jacket. I’m not sure of the type, as the liner was removed, so an ID would be a big help. The wear seems to indicate WWII era, however I am not the best judge for that. The zipper is a TALON and chest size is a 42. Other questions I have are how much does the missing liner affect value , Front of waistband has several holes (one sided) and edge wear. Cuff seem to be solid, zipper is fine and leather is supple. What would be a fair price?
History Man Posted September 25, 2013 Share #2 Posted September 25, 2013 The look of it is making me think civilian...made to look like the G1 almost. Philip
Stony Posted September 25, 2013 Share #3 Posted September 25, 2013 It's a civilian jacket, not military. Probably WWII era or just afterwards.
