Hello. I was hoping someone might be able to ID these flashes. The red one on the left is on twill and seems to be an older vintage. Thank you for your help!

The red flash is something called "Ohio State Guard OSG Airborne School Flash".

I have no idea what that is but the flash is being offered on the net at a sell site.

The blue flash appears to be a 38th SF flash that has been reworked with felt tip markers.

The middle portion of the bend shows two colors of yellow when enlarged. The blue of the bottom

bend has bled over to the outer border when you look at an enlarged photo of it.

Indeed, I can ID them. First of all the "Ohio State Guard OSG Airborne School Flash" ID is a giant crock of barnyard droppings. This ID is currently being offered up by a seller on eBay, without total accuracy.

Both flashes ARE from the Ohio State Guard, or more accurately the Ohio Military Reserve. The cut edge red flash is for the 2nd Bde and the ME flash is for the 5th Bde. They no longer wear berets in the OMR. They also had flashes for the 1st Bde and four flashes for the 4th Bde (HQ, 41st, 42nd and 43rd Bns).

Thank you for the positive ID's Patch, I do appreciate it! I usually don't pick up flashes but these were mixed in with some other stuff. Now I know :)
