Bringbacks from a 277th Combat Engineer Battalion MSgt.

Hi all,

 

I had actually posted this a long time ago on the forum but figured I wanted to rephotograph it and add it to the spoils section. This was a grouping I picked up from a customer at my old job. He lived on the same block as the hardware store I worked at. I got to talking with him and asked if his dad was in the service and brought anything back. He said he had some stuff and a medal I would like. So a few days later he showed up with a box of stuff to show me. I took a look and a few days later purchased it. There was a Nazi flag but kept that, either way I still did very well.

Finally his bringbacks. He was right I did like the Luftwaffe Flak Badge! And of course I was more than pleased to get the hunting association patch. Too bad the moths got to it!

 

His dad is top row third from the left.

No maker but nice early construction

Ian I'm guessing that a OD bordered 3rd army patch is fairly uncommon? I'm not up to date on US patches.

You'd be correct in that assumption. Likewise the 8-wheeler, an eagerly sought variant.
