'Normandy' Camo German M40 Helmet

Recommended Posts

A friend picked this up at a local estate sale.

Not a lot is known about the vet's service (by his son).. but he was at Normandy at some point.

This is an amazing untouched piece.. and truly is a "spoil of war" trophy.

I can only assume what happened to the wearer.

thanks for looking,

Brian

Nice Normandy camo! It was made at Quist, and is a size 64.

Really great to see an honest camo helmet. That is a really good find, the only thing missing is the liner string. And that is something I would not worry about. Marty

thanks guys... I am really proud of this one. It displays wonderfully and I haven't seen a Normandy camo that I like better.

Definitely not worried about the liner string.
