Looking for infos about LCI(L)-876 ... help needed

Hello,

 

I'm looking for informations about the LCI(L)-876, to know where she was deployed during 1944-45.

 

She was commissioned in october 1944 and assigned to the Asiatic-Pacific Theater, but I need more informations and am not able to find some.

 

Your help would be greatly appreciated

Heres a start:

 

Oct 1944 – Commissioned

 

Deduced from their Muster Reports

 

Nov – Dec 1944 - Training/shakedown on East Coast

Dec 44 – March 1945 - Training/shakedown on West Coast

 

 

This is taken from their War Diary report (the only one listed).

 

July 1945 – Assigned to LCI(L) Group 38, Flotilla 13, operating with Service Division 101, Squadron 10, in Leyte Gulf, Philippines

 

 

So sometime after March, they seemed to head to the Pacific. Seemed to hang around the Philippines. Can't find them listed with LCI(L) Group 38, Flotilla 13 yet.

There doesn't seem to be any report of combat service. She was part of a convoy that went through the Panama Canal and then to San Diego in Feb. In March 45 she was reported at Pearl Harbor. After that she shows up in the Caroline Islands and the Philippines.
