I believe this is a military comb, but I could be wrong. Has same handle as mess kit or chow hall utincils with black plastic handle.

 

It's maker marked L.F.&C. 1941.

 

Has anyone seen one of these before?

Personally, it looks like a modified utensil...not sure if it would be a comb though.

I actually found 4 of them together, so I'm thinking if they modified a utencil, they did at least 4 of them.

 

Not strong enough to be a hack saw.

The blade part of this is definately machine made and the blades themselves are beveled.

I collect items from The Battle of Iwo Jima (1945).
