Kiwi65 Posted September 9, 2013 Author #27 Posted September 9, 2013 Unit Leader's Check List: this one is very interesting.
Kiwi65 Posted September 9, 2013 Author #28 Posted September 9, 2013 And finally, an overview of just how small this museum is. The set of drawers in the background contains all sorts of goodies: The captured watch, the tobbaco ration card, the train ticket etc.
bobgee Posted September 9, 2013 #31 Posted September 9, 2013 Thank you for posting this link. It is a terrific little museum in just the right place. Thanks to all the KiWis for preserving the memory of the Marines in your country. Semper Fi.......Bobgee
Mandy Posted September 9, 2013 #32 Posted September 9, 2013 I love these museums. Semper Fi and Gung Ho !!! Tom
Kurt Barickman Posted September 9, 2013 #33 Posted September 9, 2013 Would like to go to that one someday. Having searched out many 2nd Marine Division veterans, I have a few souvenirs from Paekakariki. All of the 2nd vets I have talked to spoke/speak fondly of New Zealand and her people. Thanks for posting about this museum Kurt
