kyhistorian01 Posted September 9, 2013 #1 Posted September 9, 2013 I have had this stored away for a while, I got it from the dame person that donated a bunch of uniforms to me a little while ago. He was a WWII vet, but he picked up a lot of things over the years that he thought were interesting military and otherwise. He found this in a barn years ago and supposedly it was brought back by a USAAF maintenance officer who served in the Pacific. All but 2 tools are gone, but the tool checklist with photos still remains in tact. Anyone have an idea of what type of aircraft it went to. Its numbered 2 of 2 and apparently all the tools were numbered as the 2 remaining tools have a number on the them corresponding with the number inside the box. Pic 1

mmerc20 Posted September 9, 2013 #8 Posted September 9, 2013 That is just awesome! As an aircraft mechanic for the past 17 years I would love to have something like that! Mike
