It's been pretty well messed with and I'm sure you can get a more original jacket if you're looking for a display piece. Johnny Signor Posted September 12, 2013 Share #14 Posted September 12, 2013 The patch looks to be the shape for the 44th Bombardment Squadron of the 40th BG (20th AAF), it's a Bird with wings spread in flight carrying a aerial bomb in it's talons below it's body and the bombs nose is just sticking outside of the round border at the bottom ............................
