mike_espo Posted September 1, 2013 Share #1 Posted September 1, 2013 Hi all. My first post in these forums. Was wondering what flying caps the USAF issued for the B-36 crews. Having seen "Strategic Air Command" many years ago, it inspired me to seek out one of the ball caps that the SAC crews used. Not sure if it was the D-1, D-1a, or B-1 from the 40s or just baseball caps. As I am not a collector, I would like a reproduction for everyday use, Any suggestions on retailers, or comments on quality would be most appreciated. thanks Mike
Survival Posted September 2, 2013 Share #2 Posted September 2, 2013 Do a private message to member easterneagle87 just recently he was selling a large amount of original early 1950s blue D1 caps in unissued condition. They were very reasonably priced....
