Quero visitar o Ricardo! Tem coisas boas ai! It must be hard to live in Brazil and collect, I bet it's a much more expensive hobby over there! When I lived in Rio, I tried real hard to find ww2 stuff but to no avail, not even Brazilian related!

Thanks!!

Is a challenge to collect here in Brazil , either by distance, the difference in values of currencies ( brazilian money vs. U.S. Dollar), tributes, sending cost, prejudice for being a collector from South America and abroad here for collecting things from other countries ... not to mention the cold and wet weather in winter and very hot and humid in the summer ... and ignorance of the people here in relation to preserving the history...

Obrigado (thanks) for the encouragement!

Regards,

Ricardo.

Sabre you got me drooling here man!! Youre killing me! I have never, ever seen a real life WW2 dress blue. What is the story behind that one??

Also that 10th bullion is superb - I love seeing the other air forces being represented.

And can anyone identify to me to that top left ribbon on the last CBI uniform that RICARDO posted?!

The Soldier Medal.

Ricardo.

That's all for now, except to say a big thank you to those forum members who have helped me add some of these uniforms to my collection. I plan to in the future start a thread on my collection in the displays section with more detail.

Matt.
