B24AT6 Posted August 25, 2013 Share #1 Posted August 25, 2013 I've had this helmet for about 25 years and thought some might find it interesting, because of the recent topic about MP markings. The markings are obviously stenciled, but were "dabbed" vs sprayed onto the helmet. The helmet shell is also one of the McCord produced 17A1 specific shells instead of a retrofitted 1917. USMC-RECON0321 Posted August 26, 2013 Share #7 Posted August 26, 2013 Very Nice! To find any Kelly helmet with original markings is rare in itself! Love it. Troy

Sabrejet Posted August 26, 2013 Share #10 Posted August 26, 2013 Very nice indeed! I've never ever seen an M1917A1 with such markings before. Can't be very many of those to be found today!
