my Find in Germany

While stationed in Germany in mid to late 80s...i had cheap metal detector and found an old pfenning with swatzika on it and i found a german soldier medal with the swatzika on it as well. I brought them back home here but they were stolen by one of the movers..along with other stuff of my family..oh well

I know how you feel, M1. The movers stole my ALICE pack with a bunch of my souvenirs from Desert Storm - Iraqi gas mask, Iraqi chem decon kit, a bunch of 20 dinar notes and a Kuwaiti flag that I found in an abandoned school building outside of the Al Wafrah oil fields.

One if the recent posts i made of bayonets i had came from a vet who apparently had a duffel bag full of knives, bayonets and even Lugers he was bringing home after the war. Apparently he was sleeping in a train station when someone snuck up and stole it. The couple pieces he had were in his other bag that his feet were propped up on.
