I want to share with you my new find.

Is nearly mint complete and untuched.

Hope you like it.

I have a question for you,if you can help me?

I've seen pictures of Marines in Vietnam who wear the M-1956 webbing system with M-16 pouch.

I try to compose a dummy with this set up but the M-16 pouch make the vest stay in place too high...

Maybe the Marines used only the belt without the belt straps?

Or i did somenthing wrong?

I notice that the one locks the vest are the passes of pouch...

Here are the picture.

Longer suspenders or you can wear the LBE over the flack vest!

P.S. I think I've seen this vest before! :P

While the USMC did use the M-56 gear, I have noticed in photographs that many Marines seemed to prefer using bandoliers rather than the ammo pouches. Sometimes you will see both on the same Marine, however. I think that you will find that if you wear both, the vest will indeed push the pouches down somewhat which may or may not be uncomfortable. Also, Marines sometimes wore the suspenders under the flak vest too so you may not see them easily in period photos.
