Piece of the USS Cumberland, sunk by the CSS Virginia (Merrimack)

I found this piece at a flea market about 15 years ago for $1 in WNY. It took me about 8 years to find it in my parents attic! It is about 3"x3" and has some neat history to it.

 

I guess souvenir hunters jumped on the opportunity to sell pieces of the ship after it was sunk. Neat history!
