Hi all , i have just stubled upon these while i was trawling ebay !! any thoughts ??

Looks like the M3 is missing the ear pads. I think while they are a nice set USAAF Flak Helmets, the price is on the high side.

I think the helmets are good, but I think the coverthingy is Korean War or WWII Surplus.

The M4A2 flak helmet is supposed to have that covering on it, that is how they were issued.

The M5 has been re-painted...should have a matt flock finish...as should the M3. There are some chinstrap issues and missing felt pads too, as has already been mentioned. Works out at around £200 a shot which is not far off what they would cost individually, so a bulk-buy might be cost effective?

hey !!! you have the same one !! ;) i wasnt going to buy these helmets way out of my budget !! just wanted other opinions on them while im still looking for an M3 !! ;)

I have a similar helmet in my collection for nearly 30 years and the ear pads come loose because of the lesser quality of the glue.
