Sweetheart winged prop

Any idea as to what era this is from?

It's an air corps officer's branch insignia. Being Sterling and pin-back this is WWII. They used sterling silver during the War because brass was being used for ammo.

2 inches wide, 1 1/2 inches tall.

The "style" of the wings isn't like any other Air Corps wings I have, or have seen.

I'll post a clearer picture when they land.

I also agree with you guys that it's a sweetheart piece. The thing is made of one piece of thin metal and it's stamped, which doesn't look like the standard Air Corps winged prop. The shape is somewhat different also. I have a piece that looks just like this and it's too light to be regular uniform insignia. Lots (& I do mean LOTS), of this type thing was made in the WWII era and before.
