Piratelou Posted July 25, 2013 Share #1 Posted July 25, 2013 These are my latest finds. Any input as to exactly what we've got here would be fantastic, thanks! Johnny Signor Posted July 27, 2013 Share #5 Posted July 27, 2013 The Vanguard Navy wings are NOT "Sweetheart" they're "Issue" wings , the others may be sweetheart , but not the one wing
Orgone Posted August 30, 2013 Share #6 Posted August 30, 2013 The two rifle pins are WW2 era Sweetheart Pins, the first pair of navy wings may be older, but the pin attachment that is glued on is no older than the 1970s and can be found on lots of costume jewelry sold today. The other two wings are "issue" or currently used aviators wings. The real gem here is the torpedo. While it is missing the top loop, it is still a hard to find item usually worn with chain around the neck. That is almost definetly a WW2 period piece. I imagine it to measure about 2 to 3 inches long. Good find.
