Bought it because it had a swastika on it and I did not know what the hell it is. Took a chance on it for only $10 so if it is not pre 1945 German manufacture I will not get hurt. Anyone out there know what this is and what used for? Any help appreciated? Bought from an older lady so I assumed that maybe her late husband brought it home. I have owned a few flag toppers and all the ones I had and have seen had a cup at the bottom to fit over the flag pole with a hole or two for nailing or inserting screws to hold them in place. Yours look more like something that would attach to a podium, vehicle or another fixture that would make the nut and bolt invisible or hidden from view. I have no idea if they are vintage or not.
