John Cooper Posted April 6, 2008 Share #1 Posted April 6, 2008 All, I just thought I would post this because I enjoyed many of his movies but he was a veteran of WW2. I understand that he served in the 11th Air Force as a radio op\gunner on a B-25 in the Aleutian Islands. John

Bugme Posted April 6, 2008 Share #3 Posted April 6, 2008 When Charlton Heston's father-in-law(L.B. Clarke) was still alive, Mr. Heston and his wife Lydia would come to her home town of Two Rivers, Wisconsin(My home town also) and regularly meander about in public. This was all when I was a kid but, I remember it well. He will be missed.
