Id love any help you could offer. for this uniform but more so for my other family members. One that has really beat me is finding a picture of my great great uncle in uniform.

spend a lot of time with HQ squadron in Quantico during the first half of WWII, then Marine Service Squadron out of Cherry Point in the second half

 

January 46, listed as Marine Detachment, USS GENERAL C.G. MORTON (AP-138). No April entry, July 46 has him back in the wing

was not at the office when these were dropped off, wish I had been, but I got them for free! I am not a collector of patches so I have very little knowledge off them but the division patch on the blues looks weird to me, maybe silk? any help would be cool from the patch experts! Vet came in and dropped off these great tunics with his 1st Mar Div patches on them.
