sigman69 Posted June 26, 2013 Share #1 Posted June 26, 2013 hello, I am new here and looking for some information, I inherited these as they came back from europe after WWII. I was wanting to know what history, info and even what they might be worth. Thanks, John S

mvmhm Posted June 26, 2013 Share #4 Posted June 26, 2013 The first is a German army dress bayonet worn for formal occasions..made in the millions and fairly common..you can find these as low as $40 or $50 and going up from there...the second and more valuable is German forestry or hunting cutlass...those start out at a couple of hundred bucks...BUT, this is a US forum...although you could post them in the war trophy section. Bob Hudson Posted June 26, 2013 Share #6 Posted June 26, 2013 You'll find an example of your hunting cutlass here: http://www.wwiidaggers.com/CUTLASS.htm And a good forum for selling and discussing in detail German and Japanese militaria is http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/forums/
