hello, I am new here and looking for some information, I inherited these as they came back from europe after WWII. I was wanting to know what history, info and even what they might be worth.

Thanks,

The first is a German army dress bayonet worn for formal occasions..made in the millions and fairly common..you can find these as low as $40 or $50 and going up from there...the second and more valuable is German forestry or hunting cutlass...those start out at a couple of hundred bucks...BUT, this is a US forum...although you could post them in the war trophy section.
