MarDiv Posted June 23, 2013 #1 Posted June 23, 2013 Here are a few of the neater, cleaner items that found thier way home with me after OIF 1, 2 or 3. I use to have a laminated card with Iraqi rank information with english and arabic translations (knew I would need it if I ever got around to laying all of these out) but can't seem to find it in the mess I call garage.
MarDiv Posted June 23, 2013 Author #4 Posted June 23, 2013 Tons of other stuff yet to be properly photographed to include a unit road sign that I managed to get back from An Nassaria that I need to get trnalated one of these days. I also was able to aquire a few items from my brothers in 42 Commando RM while attached. Great blokes who could rob a unit blind if they didnt keep a close yey on em! Would it be appropriate to post items traded from one marine to another in this forum?? Well, in closing, I thought I would add one of my Dad's bring backs (USN radioman TBF & PV-1's 1943 -1946).
MarDiv Posted June 23, 2013 Author #5 Posted June 23, 2013 Oops!! Sorry for the E & E chart! Can someone let me know how to remove an attachment??
doyler Posted June 23, 2013 #6 Posted June 23, 2013 Nice The Evasion Chart is very intresting.Been looking for one used during OIF-OEF and havent foumd one. Thanks for posting.
ScottG Posted June 23, 2013 #7 Posted June 23, 2013 Nice insignia, all of it is post 2003/Saddam era though. Most looks to be I.C.D.C. which should be very collectible in the future as this was a short lived organization. The compass is very nice and may actually be British made. Neat stuff and I would love to see more! Scott.
MarDiv Posted June 24, 2013 Author #8 Posted June 24, 2013 Somewhere I have shoulder boards like the ones posted with a red border/strip running across (lft to rgt) below the stars/eagle. Will post those soon along with some others (misc stuff like an RPG bag, AK mag rig, and helmets).
