FAAA Posted June 21, 2013 Share #1 Posted June 21, 2013 Last weekend the FAAA deloyed as one of only two US Airborne Groups at the IWM Airborne Assault Museum's anual Airborne Forces Weekend at Duxford. Working alongside some of the finest British airborne groups in the UK it was a privilage to take part. Below is a snap shot of what the group got upto, pending a fuller report in due course. This is a definate for next year and hopefully for the years to come as the event grows to incorporate the current serving members of 16 Air Assault.What was on the programe for the weekend then!Well we did some Close Quarter Drill and some Honor Guard training of course!We did some jump ground trainingWe did some Parachute WorkWe stopped now and again for chowWe prayed for good weatherWe did some scappingWe dressed up a bit to look tough!Above all we had a great time with our mates Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yes one of our best eventswe have been involved in, we were well looked after and we were displaying alongside some of the UK's top British Airborne Groups, planning already for next year. Cheers Bud Working on the next report, but a little behind with events as we have been so busy. 41st and 39th Infantry first then will get on with this one which produced some good pics.
