Hired_gun Posted June 21, 2013 Share #1 Posted June 21, 2013 Is anyone aware if the 1906/1907 Army tunic, the one with a stand and fall collar, had grommet holes sewn in for emblems/disks? It seems that the majority I have seen had pin on type emblems/insignia.
bbmilitaria Posted June 23, 2013 Share #2 Posted June 23, 2013 I'm by no means an autority on pre WWI uniforms, but here is what I think is a 1907 pattern uniform. This one has the stitched grommet holes, 2 sets on each side.

Hired_gun Posted June 24, 2013 Author Share #4 Posted June 24, 2013 I kind of made my decision based on Gil Sanow's post here http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/3874-1903-1910-us-army-em-khaki-coats/ plus he indicated that the post type collar discs didn't appear until 1910. Would it make a difference if it is the tropical kahki type vs. wool?
