40s/50s Red Cross Uniform?

This was found in the "dress up" box of a neighbor and they thought I might be interested. I'm not at all experienced in women's uniforms and would appreciate some help, is this WWII, post war or simply a dress up item? I've looked for some period pictures of Red Cross uniforms and the only difference I can see is the collar, which has an extra layer of white fabric. Feel free to move this to the Women's Service section, I decided against posting this there because of it's lack of traffic and this uniform qualifying as a recent find.

My wife is into this stuff and it looks good. Honestly I don't have any problems with it. She's still starting this hobby but it appears to be from ww2.

This is NOT WWII. This is from 1948 to 1954 uniform.

 

 

ARC uniforms from WWII do not have the pinstripe blue. The patch ARC Volunteer is from 1948 also. I collect WWII uniforms and I can send you a pdf of ARC uniforms if you want from WWI to 1960's.
