I dont own a copy of this movie, but I am 100% sure that I havent seen it in black and white. Its definatly a color movie. I believe the pics are production stills.

Yes, it's a color movie (1966). A big clue in the still was the letters "LC" on the bottom (Lost Command).

I love the cammo uniforms and the MAT49 submachine guns!

David Niven is an RAF Pilot in "The first of the few" . I loaded it down few months ago from archive.org .

The Way Ahead, aka the Immortal Battalion was a full length version of the New Lot. I do love that movie though for years US copies had entire scenes gone. If you listen close Niven talks about Trubshaw yet again.

I got ya, then correct answer to Krautpot, I always knew it as The Immortal Battalion.
