Period memo from July 24, 1944 concerning the regulations on marking equipment and clothing. Bet they were having a problem with soldiers not following the regs!

That is an interesting letter, thank you for sharing it. I find it particularly amusing that it appears the soldier stamped the list with his laundry number!
