History Man Posted June 7, 2013 Share #1 Posted June 7, 2013 Here is a poster I picked up last weekend from a local contact, I had known about this for a while and was finally able to buy it. It is folded which is how they were issued. It is a very nice large poster with great graphics detailing 2 PT Boats attacking a Japanese cruiser in the midst of the night. It has the phrase "Full Speed Ahead" on the top, a message from PT Boat Group 3 CO, phrase "Produce for Your Navy, Victory Begins At Home!" It is made by Einson - Freeman Co. and issued by Navy Dept, Incentive Division. Let me know what you think. Philip

fstop61 Posted June 7, 2013 Share #5 Posted June 7, 2013 A really nice poster--the artwork is by the outstanding navy artist Jon Whitcomb-I wouldn't hesitate having a copy in my collection. A good candidate for restoration. Thanks for sharing
West Michigan Posted June 8, 2013 Share #6 Posted June 8, 2013 Nice poster. Looks like it's in pretty good condition, too.
History Man Posted June 10, 2013 Author Share #7 Posted June 10, 2013 Thank you, I am going to leave it as is since it has been "untouched." The only thing I may do is have it framed to display in the war room. Philip
