She is clueless and doesn't know much about his service. i am trying to help. He is not able to help as he has problems understanding. patches Posted May 28, 2013 Share #5 Posted May 28, 2013 Yep, 11th Abn Div circa 1948-late 1951, keys here are quadruple collar discs and the wear of the OD neck tie( these started to be used sometime in 1948) could be the late occupation period ( Div left Japan in May 1949, or when the Division was at Campbell. By the light color in the center of the oval in this Black and White Photo, it could be either one for the 511th Airborne Infantry. Or the 188th Airborne Infantry.
