collector Posted June 10, 2014 Share #26 Posted June 10, 2014 I have what I believe to be an original receiver/barrel combination, with the updates on an Underwood. The front sight has the Underwood mark. Any info on Underwood concerning earliest rear sight and bayo lug date? I would like to know if it was issued like that or was refurbed. ThompsonSavage Posted June 10, 2014 Author Share #27 Posted June 10, 2014 According to Canfield, Underwood did not produce carbines with the adjustable rear sight, nor did it ever use barrel bands with the bayo lug. So your carbine sounds like a refurb.
