mvmhm Posted May 18, 2013 Share #1 Posted May 18, 2013 These items were donated this week, and were brought back by William B. Hardaman, the donor's great Uncle. He said that his uncle served in the 7th Anti-Aircraft Artillery in Europe, and that after his vehicle was destroyed, he was reassigned as a motorcycle-mounted MP - Mr. Hardaman had also been in a motorcycle gang before the war. I told Mr. Farr that was ironic, because one of the items his uncle had kept was an NSKK diamond.., the insignia of the Nazi Motorcycle Corps. he found the Wound badge at the last minute and put it in the package, and i got an email last night saying they had some more things they'll send in time, including a German .25 pocket pistol. mvmhm Posted May 18, 2013 Author Share #2 Posted May 18, 2013 Oh, and as you can see, the armband still has the threads where it was sewn to a uniform...the Black Wound Badger looks like the Swastika has been defaced in the picture, but it's not....
