RANDALL 1953 Posted May 16, 2013 #1 Posted May 16, 2013 My Dad was a Sgt in a Combat Engineer Battalion in the ETO. He took this stickpin off of a German Artillery officer along with the officers Luger. A fellow GI helped himself to the Luger but the stickpin made it here. I still have it.
Patriot Posted May 17, 2013 #2 Posted May 17, 2013 The NSKK was the German motor corps. They trained soldiers in auto maintenance and repair, as well as driving VIP's around.
RANDALL 1953 Posted May 17, 2013 Author #3 Posted May 17, 2013 Correct, NSKK was short for Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps
RANDALL 1953 Posted May 17, 2013 Author #5 Posted May 17, 2013 If you mean the Luger you are 100% correct as it was a Artillery model with the longer barrel.
