We suspect it is trimmed to the quick before being sewn to this brassard as it lacks the Square OD backing. The brassard, is it CQ? Charge of Quarters? Captain Eugene Russell Fowler, the C.O. of Headquarter Company 2nd Battle Group 8th Infantry in 1963.
