FAAA TROOPS Back at sub unit CP's after a great day in Norfolk and the 96th Bomb Group museum open day and veterans visit.

Great day was had by all attending members, outstanding job done with the AAF Color Guard, Veterans, families and 96th Association were the nicest bunch of people you could wish to meet.

Their appreciation of the task we set ourselves I hope made the travelling by some of the team from one side of the UK to the other well worth the time and the effort, next to the Americans themselves it must of been the longest distance to travel by any group for this one day event.

Commitment can not be over stated.

Jill and Alfie close friends of the group worked hard to make the event a success and it really was, thanks again for the invite, I hope we covered all you needed us to do, it was great to touch base with you and go over old times.

Parading the 96th BG Colors before the Veterans was such an honor, but not on a par to actually talking to the veterans and their families. For the groups younger lads it was an experience we seldom have an oportunity to forfill.

Well earned standdown now for a few weeks before we are Airborne and Duxford bound.

Regards to all

Lee
