32sbct Posted May 13, 2013 Share #5 Posted May 13, 2013 Yes, the reverse image patches were only worn by the 3rd BDE, 2nd ID during OIF 2. As I remember, they all came with tan velcro on the back side. If you were not wearing a CCU you had to remove the velcro and get it sewn on at one of the sew shops that was at every base and FOB in the AO. When we got back we started wearing the reverse patch on our BDUs but big Army put a stop to that really fast. In addition to my DCU's, I still have one BDU set with the reverse patch on it. It was barely worn because I wanted to leave the reverse patch on it and the ACU's came out right around that time anyway. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
