It’s great to see the medals and their stories coming back together. Thank you!

 

Any chance we could figure out who #7414 was awarded to? I presume this was a WW2 award.

WWII Cross was issued in 1946 to Bernard Ciotti.

 

I will try to get a card

 

From a 1942 Newspaper:

 

CIOTTI PROMOTED Freeport--Bernard Ciotti, 26, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ciotti, 199 Seaman Freeport, has been promoted from the rank of corporal to that of technical sergeant, it was learned here today.

Sgt. Ciotti is serving with the Signal Corps at Fort Jay, it was said.

10195 issued in 1962 to George C. Fair (If you keep buying these you may need to invest in the books and Ancestry).

 

Looks like he was WWII US Army Enlisted Man

Looking for the WWII recipient of medal 12666  if anyone can help. From the numbering I would guess it was awarded in the mid 60s
