Bebel Posted May 11, 2013 Share #1 Posted May 11, 2013 First the jet... The 449th FIS was assigned to Air Defense of USA with F-94 all-weather interceptor. Then the jacket: a Superior Tog's L-2A with 96th FIS and 449th FIS patches (purchased from a forum member). Unfortunately, the zipper was broken at four places and the Conmar slider was missing. I got one from an L-2A or B sleeve pocket zip. It goes well but it's very, very difficult closing the jacket to the top. I could replace the zip but I prefer to keep the jacket original. Otherwise, this jacket is nice.Franck

Lee Ragan Posted May 11, 2013 Share #3 Posted May 11, 2013 Nice 50's vintage Air Force. The old F-94 was basically an armed T-33 on steroids. Dig those artic high visibility orange markings! The blue jacket is a treasure too. I used to have a blue B-15 "Modified" (which ment the fur collar had been replaced with the web type), and like an idiot, I sold it!
