German M-43 Cap and Manuals

Found this at a local estate sale today. M-43 caps are getting impossible to find so I feel pretty lucky to have found it. I bought 15 carbine, Garand, Thompson, M2 1919 etc. manuals all in excellent condition and named to the same guy.

I've been interested in starting a "spoils" section in my collection as well. Unfortunately, too many collectors in my area are trying to do the same thing.

Nice cap, at least you know it has not been missed with. So much junk in the Kraut field anymore, only things I buy anymore is from Vet's families or estate sales. M43 are getting tough to find these days.
