When it comes to Grand Army of the Republic documents, this is about as rare as it gets.

I could not scale the images properly, which has made the writing difficult to read. If there is interest, I can try for better pictures.

Thanks Timber - There were only around 3,500 Marines that served (out of over 4 million servicemen overall), and only a fraction of those actually saw combat. Now think of how many of THOSE who were actually WOUNDED.
